There are several reasons why you would want to create a backup copy of a DVD movie. But the reason for doing so is not important. What is important is that you can quickly and easily back up any DVD movie in your collection by using Acala DVD Copy. This application will copy any DVD movie you want, maintain video-audio synchronization, all without any quality loss.

The system requirements for running Acala DVD Copy are very low: 350MHz processor or better, 64MB or RAM or more, any Windows edition.
To get Acala DVD Copy up and running you will have to go through a standard installation procedure: download an installer, run it, follow a setup wizard’s simple instructions. Please note that Acala DVD Copy’s setup wizard will want to install some additional software; make sure to opt out if you don’t want any extras.

The application’s interface is made up of two circles. From the one to the left you can select the source DVD movie and destination. From the one to the right you can set the parameters for the output file. If you have any problems with the interface, check out the detailed Help file. You can also check out Acala DVD Copy’s official website as it hosts useful instructions on how to use the application.

Speaking about using the application, you will have to go through 3 simple steps to create a backup of any DVD movie you want. These 3 simple steps are:
Step 1 – select the source movie (disc movie or hard disk) and destination (DVD recover or hard disk).
Step 2 – set up the parameters for the output (audio languages, include subtitles, include menus and extras, and more).
Step 3 – click the Start button and let Acala DVD Copy do its job.

You can use the trial version of Acala DVD Copy to perform three backup jobs. A prompt will remind you about this limitation every time you launch the application.

Easily create a backup for any movie in your collection by using Acala DVD Copy.

Pros

You don’t need to worry about Acala DVD Copy’s system requirements; they are very, very low. The interface is quite simple. Using Acala DVD Copy is a simple 3-step process. Useful info is available online or within the Help file.

Cons

The setup wizard wants to install some additional software. The trial is limited to 3 uses.
